Happy New Year!

2014 has arrived with a the hope of many and it gives us new courage and belief for a very new start.

And right back into it we First we need you input your feedback to achieve some or our desired goals for the year and K’Rd.

Is there anything that can be done to improve the night time experience on offer here in Auckland the world’s 10th most liveable city in the World?

Are there any relevant concerns that K’Rd Community Safety Inc need to address?

We are committed to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all K’Rd users needs whether you work, live or visit here.

We want to gauge public opinion on the vitality of K’Rd’s street credibility as a hospitality and entertainment area in addition to being a safe zone – and assemble information for those working to make Auckland an even better destination.

Our website kroadcs.com and www.facebook.com/KrdCommunitySafety and online forum shows how our group of hard working volunteers can best achieve K’Rd’s status of being the most liveable, dynamic and safest entertainment scene not only here in NZ, but the World.”

Rather than simply put out a media release outlining a particular view it has been decided our public relation policy be based on attraction rather than promotion. Simply put the public’s opinion should always be sought and we can do this by holding public meetings, monthly group meetings (open) or way of a simple questionnaire.

We want to canvas general attitudes about the local scene as well as specific responses on aspects of K’Rd’s entertainment and hospitality experience, including new liquor licensing laws, security, opening hours, street lighting and safety cameras to name a few.

Please feel free to respond with ideas or suggestions you may have for our group to achieve this.
